The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Preschool (formerly Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Nursery School) will reopen in the fall, based on community interest and meeting registration goals. The Preschool will operate an educational program for children ages 3 to 5 years old in the Westminster Church House on the College’s campus. Programming will be extended by 30 minutes with classes running from 9 a.m. to noon. Before care will be offered from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunchtime care from noon to 1 p.m.
While the Preschool’s new name reflects a new operating model and updated curriculum, the school will maintain the traditions and values of the former Nursery School cherished by generations of Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ community members. Programming will continue to emphasize the importance of play-based, nature-inspired learning through developmentally appropriate instruction while aligning with Ohio’s current Early Learning & Development Standards.
The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Preschool is proud to build upon the more than 75-year history of the Nursery School in reestablishing a community of learning for both preschool children and college students at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ.
