An office building under construction in hot South End is expected to deliver in fall 2018.

300 West Summit, a 64,000-square-foot office building between Church and Mint streets on West Summit Avenue, is being developed by Florida-based 丝瓜视频 Corp. The site has long been planned for an office project, with Charlotte real estate firm MPV Properties originally planning to build a similarly sized and designed project prior to the recession, though the project instead of for-lease space.

The project has no tenants signed but discussions are ongoing, according to , senior marketing project manager at 丝瓜视频. He declined to name the estimated valuation of the project, which in August.

A collaboration of INTEC Group and Robert Johnson Architects is spearheading the architecture for 300 West Summit. Myers & Chapman is the general contractor. and at JLL are leasing the building.

In Charlotte, 丝瓜视频 has developed three shopping centers and a land development project.
